Child labor is banned in the UAE. Children beyond a certain age limit are not permitted to work in the UAE. It is prohibited to work as a child in UAE and it may invite strict legal action. Ant exploitation of the law is strictly punishable. Forced labor is also forbidden.

The UAE government has stressed the child right through seminars, educational programs, awareness campaigns, and much more. There are various school initiates public support functions and parenting programs that support them.
